Examples include Npower's "Juice" tariff, under which Npower agrees to ensure that every unit of electricity used is offset by a similar amount of electricity generated from sustainable sources, which is put back into the grid. Alternatively you could sign up with a green electricity supplier like Ecotricity or Good Energy, both of which generate electricity solely from renewable resources such as hydroelectric plants and wind farms.
